I have an electrical question for those who understand how electricity works.

On the highway my two 25 amp radiator fans turn so fast that the little amber 
light that says they are working glows at about 50%.

Lately my ammeter has shown an eratic movement, from totally dead at times to 
acting normal.

My question is, does that current from the radiator fans go into the battery 
somehow, or could it have a destructive effect on my alternator?
