Uh...an under-the-car scoop was STOCK on later L-model Panteras.   It was 
located at the bottom of the firewall behind the passenger seat, and used to duct 
air directly into the 'snorkel' on the air cleaner (which was turned 180 
degrees from its earlier configuration; instead of pointing towards the left rear 
wheel, it points forward towards the passenger seat.)

The scoop was connected to flexible ducting which in turn was connected to 
the air cleaner.   Not often seen these days, because people replace it with an 
open air cleaner.   The stock setup was probably much better, actually....
