[DeTomaso] Oil Cooler

Love to hear how that works out for you, in XX years of racing I've never
heard of an under the car scoop.

My first thought is that it's a low pressure area and my second thought is
that the ground clearance isn't there and if you have that much clearance
then you need to lower the car to lower the CG to handle better/safer.

The whole idea of Ground effects to to get the air out from under the car
ASAP to create more low pressure and to suck the car down, a scoop would
seem to defeat that, but given the rough underside and the undaipered engine
bay and trans axle design, ( not like we can add tunnels around the half
shafts...ummmmmm ) maybe it doesn't mater, like I said, I love to hear how
this works.

I guess is that is scoop is going to get knocked off or ground away, so I'd
make that a thought is the mounting process so that it doesn't do any damage
if it does either.
