you are correct. Some people in our group buy got their wheels within a month......mine took six months. One of the wheels they sent me was damaged so I had to send it back.....it was a long story, but I got over it and am now happy :)

I have heard good things about Kodiak wheels, except for their delivery 
time. Be prepared to wait a LONG time if they're not in stock.
