[DeTomaso] South BAy Craig's list - Pantera

I'm concerned about the term "Rat Rod" being used to describe the coating on my Pantera. While it may in fact be just black primer,
and rat rods do promote this look, I submit that, on a Pantera, this produces a  "variable signature".  Example:  Recently while driving
to a car show with another Pantera (my previous car, perfect red paint, 17s, GSD3s, the whole "look")  I noticed that he got the
normal rubber neckers I've been used to for years, but I could stealthly move through traffic almost unnoticed...until they did get a 
look, and the look turned to shock and awe.  At the car show itself, the bright shiny red car was hardly noticed beside the flat black
car.  Thus the variable signature title.  So, in addition to the obvious aerodynamic and perfromance enhancements, the visual and
psychological effects should not be discounted.  It is not as simple as I thought when it all began.  Proceed cautiously.
