Possible, but like everything else, it's a balancing act. Too LITTLE oil
flying around in the 351C heads causes valve springs to overheat, dropping revs.
Especially with triple springs. Best= a 10-qt pan, oil passage restrictors
(except when running hydraulic lifters. They'll get noisy during start-up) and
being sure the stock drainback ports are open. As I said, vapor degreasers during
a pro engine overhaul do NOT necessarily clear sludge from the doglegged
drainbacks. FWIW- J Deryke
