Boyd, first, contratulations on the purchase of your Pantera.....I hope you have many happy motoring miles in it!
Now, for your electronic ignition.......if it says Unilite - pull it out and throw it away before you eat your next meal!
If it says Pertronix - enjoy some trouble free motoring, but you might want to pick up a spare, they're pretty cheap.....<$100
If you're set on getting something else, try a stock Duraspark distributor and box.....easy drop in and easy to locate parts 24/7
and you can probably get both together rebuilt for about $100
