[DeTomaso] Transaxle Question

The engine turns the transmission input shaft.
The forward gears are always in mesh. Only the synchros/dogs are  disengaged.
The gears spin on bearings on their shafts.
The bearings, with the lubricant, have some drag on the  shafts.
The input shaft turn.
The output shaft turn.
The pinion/ring turns.
The wheels turn.
