The area of the runner should increase all the way to the plenum.
If this is the situation the manifold is ok to use. It seem like some
epoxie job in the head area of the runner would be the way to go.

Subject: [DeTomaso] 2V Heads?

I'm putting Edlebrock aluminum 2V heads on my Cleveland build and called
Edelbrock to
ask if they're compatible with my 4V Performer intake. Edelbrock tech
support said "no,"
that I "needed a 2V Performer intake." But I think they just wanted to sell
another intake.

A fellow PCNC member (I forgot who) at the Dyno Day event at the Sharp's
last month has
a 4V Performer mated to his 2V Edelbrock heads. He said the ports matched
quite well
with only a minor port-matching required. This is because the Edelbrock 2V
intake has
LARGER ports than the stock 2V Cleveland head, AND the Performer 4V intake
has
SMALLER ports/runners that the stock 4V Cleveland intake.
