[DeTomaso] Replacement Headers

I have 2.5 inch header to muffler. It is a tight fit but it is doable. I have to unhook the drivers side pipe from the car (not from the header) to lift the drivers rear wheel off the ground.

Hello Scott,
    IIRC,  Dan Jones told me my header tubes were too big,  my collectors 
too short and my exhaust too small.  My exhaust is 2.25.  It looks to me 
like 2.5 is doable. I think Goran said that 3" was not easy to do.  It is my 
understanding that bigger is better from the mufflers to the collector? 
I've read that 3" exhaust makes a kind of unpleasant sound.  I think my 
header tubes were 1.875?  I would hate to see you spend all the money for 
new exhaust and not get the optimum size,  whatever that is?
