[DeTomaso] Wildly moving oil pressure

 Anybody else have a stock oil pressure gauge that bounces from 0 to 50 psi plus at will.  Let off the gas runs to 70. On gas hard drops to 0.  Car runs great.  So bad sending unit?  Bad gauge?  I think I will install a second one. The kind with the line.  Any feedback.  Michael

I believe the big bores also suffered from a very large neck down at the collector.

Cut that off and re-weld was the common solution.

Does the comparsion concerne headers only?
The big bore suffers from a coupple things...
Port matching, which is different from header to header.
Restrictive silencer.
Otherwise, the header with its primaries seems ok
