[DeTomaso] Greasable shifter U-joint???

All,

I was just looking thru some pic's that Drew sent me, and noticed this little gem down in the corner of one of them!

Has anyone seen anything like this, or would you guess that this was "detomaso made"???  This was seen at the factory, but is a great idea!  Even accessible with a grease gun....go figure!
