[DeTomaso] Cresit where credit is due - Gage corrector

I looked at Thomas' web site. His implementation is similar to mine - great
minds think alike J My box does the integration as well and uses the same
lookup table method of correcting the gage.

Mine uses 20 cal points and interpolates between them as well. I added a
programmable, resettable, "bingo-fuel" output (for a light) to mine. His
calibration software is similar to what I had in mind to do if I was going
to market the device. However, since I built mine for

Myself, and given my background being aerospace, mine would cost a lot more
to build. Thomas' implementation would be better suited for this
application since extreme accuracy is not required, and his setup software
is written with the consumer in mind (very clever calibration routine). Like
everything I build for myself, mine is over engineered as if it were going
into a fighter or spacecraft and not an automobile. I would recommend using
Thomas device because it will provide enough accuracy, is easy to integrate
into your cars and is a hell of a lot cheaper than mine would be. If for
some reason

Thomas has quit making them or is unable to supply his device, I would be
willing to help out. I could to tone down my design to make it less
expensive and easier to set up. But if you can get one of Thomas' boards it
would be the best choice for your car (and save me the engineering effort).
Mt hat's off to Thomas': clever implementation.
