[DeTomaso] Racy Seats

I bought a pair of Sparco Milano seats and really like them.  They are sitting on the stock floor pan presently with no mounting hardware and there is just enough room for a helmet.  I'll have to drop the pans to make them fit properly.  The head rest portion of the seat feels fine with a bike helmet on, but I'm not sure if car helmet is different thickness in the rear?  I'm a bit over 6 feet, but a lot of that is in the legs.

These seats feel really secure and seem easy to get into, the bolsters feel very secure but are not too high.  They are snug, and it will be interesting to see how they feel after an hour or so.

I've noticed recently that some of the fancy race/high performance looking
seats present a problem
if you're wearing a helmet. Even with all the high side bolsters and
shoulder strap openings that would
make you think it's competition oriented, the head rest section is located
for a bare head. When I wore
a helmet it pushed my head way too forward and down. Just something to think
about & look for.
Hope it helps.
