  Putting 8's on the front as well is a good idea, as Jack pointed out. You get an improved 
  scrub radius which results in lighter steering. Visually, no one would be able to tell. FWIW, 
  the competition cars all used 8" Campys in front with 10" Campys in the rear.

  You can mix/match different sizes of tires, just not brands.

  When I bought my car it had 305/50-15 tires on the rear and 205/60-15 tires on the front. I 
  don't think I've seen a Pantera with 60-series tires on the rear yet. I think they'll be too tall.
