The Hankook Ventus RH06 WAS available stateside in a V-rated 295/50-15, but the 
  websites where I had found it before now only carry bling-bling sizes, and the Hankook spec 
  sheet on the tire only shows it available for 17" to 30" wheels now.
   
  As far as that 245/50ZR15 Dunlop SP Sport 8000 is concerned, it would NOT be a good tire 
  for a Pantera with stock 7's and 8's. The overall diameter is approx. 2" less than a 295/50-15 
  (almost identical to the original tire diameter). That means your tires won't fill the wheel 
  wells, and they'll look too small for the car.
   
  IMHO, the absolute best tire combination for a narrow body Pantera with stock Campys 
  (7's and 8's or 8's and 10's) are the Toyo Proxes:
  Front: 225/50-VR15 Proxes 4
  Rear: 295/50-HR15 Proxes ST
   
  These tires look great, they visually match when viewed from the side, and the tread 
  patterns are very similar . They also handle great, require less steering effort than my old 
  BFG's required, and they're inexpensive!
