[DeTomaso] Color batches...

Guys,

1661 _is_ up to date in the registry.

The only thing the registry doesn't indicate is the purplish red color
it was painted by the first owner. An 'interim' color that it had when
I bought it. It had really groovy 14" wire wheels on it with F70
tires, too! ;-)

It was originally the puke lime green (just look up under the dash to
see it, as well as other places), was painted the dark purplish red
(I've documented this on my website and it's in a picture in the
Pantera of the Quarter article that Mike Drew did) by the first owner
(according to the second owner) and then when I got it, it was painted
silver and black.
Which it has been since 1985 and still is.
(For those of you who don't know me, I'm sorta' partial to silver.)

Ain't no yellow, nohow, nowhere, not ever.

:-)

FWIW,
Kirby

Silver Pantera
Silver GT40
Silver Lightning
even my wife's CLK350 is silver!
