Mad Dawg,

It was the KAWARAU BRIDGE BUNGY just outside of Queenstown New Zealand. 43
meters was the jump tied up at the ankles by a pretty New Zealand girl named
Gwendolyn,. I did not dunk my head because it was still winter and there was
ice in the water. Seemed a little cold for that. I went down there for
work and when I left my wife said "I know you are going to do it even if I ask
you not to." One of my bosses said he would go if I would and off we went.
He chickened out but I went and every now and then bring the video to work to
rub it in. _http://www.bungy.co.nz/index.php/pi_pageid/17_

The biggest rush ever. Got a cool T-shirt and video also. If they offer a
video get it. It's worth a million laughs.

I called my wife after and when she answered the phone she just said "You
did it didn't you?" She loves to tell her friends.

Does this count towards not being a slacker?

Jumped when I was 44 years old 8 years ago,

Did this once in New Zealand. There is no description for how cool it is.

For my 60th b'day I'm surfing in the morning and bungee jumping in the
afternoon!

The jump is off the "Bridge to Nowhere" (Angeles Forest near Azusa). Its a
150' drop off a bridge into a ravine on July 5th. This is the only
outfit(Bungee America) legally certified to jump off a bridge in California and its an
unforgettable experience. If you are man enough (okay crazy enough) to want to
jump let me know. Details are on the web site. Do a google search for Bungee
America.

Getting there is half the fun...You will forge a river 5-6 times on the hike
up to the bridge. If you are in reasonable shape you won't have a problem.
but if you aren't in shape, have bad knees or ankles or have a weak ticker or
no heart at all which is 97% of you slackers this is your excuse to stay
home. ;-]> If there is a rigging, harness or bungee cord failure there is enough
water rushing over the river rocks below to erase any evidence of your death.

P.S. Anyone who wants to join TPR after 2008 will have to go.
