[DeTomaso] Bungee Jump off the Bridge to Nowhere - July 5 - NPR

dude! i did the bungee thing in new zealand back in '01. it was a great
location, bridge over a deep ravine with a river at the bottom. sounds like
the same setting you'll have.
i have to admit, i chickened out after standing on the ledge for about 10
minutes, couldn't do it. it bugged me so bad i went back the next day and
got it done.
the key is (at least for chickenshits like me) is to just get up there and
go, DON'T WAIT!
what's NOT cool about it is bouncing around upside down, twirling around,
waiting for the boat to pull you in. good thing i hadn't eaten beforehand!
