[DeTomaso] What do all these components have in common?

Charlie,
I have only a wiring diagram from the early cars so there can be
differences, but if we assume they are identical:The only thing i can see
possibly could be common,is the grounding point under the dash. The horns are
powered by a relay, who shall have constant power on one of its
connectors(from fuse 7).A second connector is where the power goes to the
horn when the relay is actuated. The third connector is the relays
grounding(actuating),that runs to your horn button, and when button activated
,to ground(carbody under dash).Try to find your hornrelay, and check if it
has constant power on one of its connectors. If so,attache one of the
testprobes on your voltmeter to that one,and try the other probe on each of
the remaining connectors. When you have a 12volt reading on your meter each
time you hit the hornbutton, you have found a working ground cirquit and
hornbutton. If so,the last connector should be the one that lead power to
your horns, each time the relay is activated by the hornbutton.Let me hear
what you find, and i try to help you further :)

Emne: [DeTomaso] What do all these components have in common?

A few weeks ago I wrote that my horn stopped working and got some
suggestions for what to measure.

Today I got out the voltmeter and did some more testing.

I get 0.0 volts at the horn stalk. I get 12v at the fuse.

But even more interesting is that I have no heater blower fan, no windshield
wipers, no rear glass defroster, and no horn. All these things used to work.

I do have power windows (both sides), and headlights and headlight raising
mechanism. I also have dash lights.

Do those components share a common ground? Any guesses where to look? Any
advice in troubleshooting steps would be appreciated.

Thanks all!
