Even a little bit of pressure on the throwout bearing caused by an improperly 
adjusted slave cylinder would cause the clutch to slip (and drastically shorten 
the life of the throwout bearing).   Before going any further (and more 
importantly, before spending any more money), absolutely ensure that there is 
adequate freeplay in the clutch mechanism.

Although the Pantera Centerforce clutch is a 10.5 inch unit (the stock clutch 
is 11 inches), I seriously doubt that it's incapable of withstanding the 
torque that your motor is putting out.   If it's not misadjusted, could there be 
an oil leak (either from engine or gearbox) or some other problem?
