I took a video clip of this wear... Mike wiggled the wheel while I
shot the hub carrier.

I need to find the right place to put the video clip... Somewhere in the
Tech Info section... Probably under the hub & axle inspection and rebuild
section...

In Teching my car for Vegas, it was discovered that my right rear Carrier
was moving with respect to the lower A-arm allowing the wheel to rotate
slightly when pressure was applied at the 9 and 3 o'clock positions.

12 and 6 o'clock pressure showed no movement.

I recently disassembled my rear A-arms and greased the shaft through
the lower upright. My recommendation is not to try to hammer the shaft out.
I removed both nuts and then first stacked large washers over one end
and then reinstalled a standard nut (not a nylok) and then

 tightened
the nut to pull the shaft out of the upright. Once it was out as
far as the stack of washers, I used progressively longer PVC pipe fittings
over the end of the shaft and one big washer for the nut to bear against.
This allowed me to pull the shaft out easily without a lot of banging
with the hammer. Steve Freeman suggested this to me and it worked a
lot better than the hammer (I know because I tried the hammer first!)
