Email can come in HTML, RTF, or plain text formats.

If it is in HTML format, the e-mail can have clickable links. As long
as your e-mail client supports HTML format, you can view e-mail with
clickable links.

If it is in plain text format, the e-mail cannot have clickable links.
However, a smart e-mail client can scan the text in the message and
automatically enable whatever looks like a link.

The Forum converts everything to plain text format and strips
attachments for security reasons. If you have a smart e-mail client, it
can reconstitute the links.

It is the receiving e-mail client that turns URLs from plain text into
clickable links. Your Goodwood-eligible e-mail client is not up to it.

HAHAHAHA!!!

Actually, URLs are turned into clickable links from all e-mails I
receive directly, and also those from other e-mail forums (Yahoo
groups); it is *only* the posts from the De Tomaso forum that don't seem
to work that way?
