Do you think all of that is overkill for 100hp? Will. HEY! That's 130hp. I think the axles will be OK. If not I'll just turn a set up from a nice piece of oak. Thanks to everybody for all the help. I've done this several times before, but sometimes you just run intoone of those extra fun projects. I didn't try very hard to get the bearings of the axles since I need to go thelocal supplier to get new ones anyway. Jack, this retainer aint gonna be blacksmithed back into shape :)Once it was shaped something like a coffee cup, a plasma cutter put it out of its misery. The axles wereobviously modified to correct the originally too lose fit. Maybe they're a bit too tight now. We'll see afterthe bearings are off. I think the oversized area near the splines can be addressed by hand with a fine fileand a little time. The Big Bend race is April 23-26!! We need another car for the team. I secured an extra room inFt. Stockton just in case. With all the earlier turmoil this event is really hopping now. I don't carewhat else is said, this is the best ORR event out there. :) Do it!MichaelGruppo Rompiculi Corsa Dammit > OK, here is what I found on this set up.
