[DeTomaso] What are typical vacuum at idle values with a small cam?

One of the custom cam designer like Buddy Rauls, Ed Curtis or Jay Allen may be able to assist you with your inquiry. Buddy Rauls did my custom for my 331. Dyno numbers looked good but have to get it back into the car to really know.
