I told you I'd run 105mph now that I bumped HP up to about 130 at the flywheel. If I get it back together. If I get tires.
If I can find the keys.

Woooooooooot?
Corvette Coil Overs? WTFO?

YOU don't need that...what you need is someone to drive your Pantera faster then 100 mph! ;-]>michael frazier <red3644 at hotmail.com> wrote:
I've been looking at Pfadt coils and shocks usually used alot in Vettes. I'm sure they have many mounting systems. These are really cool in that the shock mounting area is threaded on the shock body as well as the spring perch ring. You can adjust the heigth of the car/shock length without changing the rate or compression of the spring like you have to do with everything else. Very cool idea. http://www.pfadtracing.com/MichaelGruppo Rompiculi Corsa Y'all> Date: Fri, 14 Mar 2008 06:05:51 -0700> From: teampantera at yahoo.com> To: mbefthomas at comcast.net; scottcouchman at yahoo.com> CC: detomaso at realbig.com> Subject: Re: [DeTomaso] Aldan Eagle Shocks> > To the song theme of WAR....> > Full suspension compression...wot is it good for?> Absolutly nothing...> > Sounds good to me Mike....Aldan shocks give good bang for the buck. The Pantera control through and over the ORR dips depends on the usual factors (speed, air time, ride height, suspension and tires, baby jezus, etc)...far too complicated to explain here in anything less then a Mikey Magna Carta posting. > > How fast you drive thru and over the ORR woops will also depend on how much deeper the WOOPS got through the winter of 2007-2008....... after 8 more months of overloaded 18-wheelers running the course at speed is going to make the course challenging! ;-]>..> > How low your ride is and how BIG your gonads are also part of the equation. Trying some new suspension mods but I want to see if they work in May before I report! I did take 23 pounds of unsprung weight off the Pantera this winter! ;-]> > > Mad Dawg > > Mike Thomas wrote:> Scott> > I am strictly road driver, and the 350/550 combination I have is just right> for that with the jounce and rebound set at 9 and 2.> > Some of the Silver Staters may want to chime in though (Dawg?) that> something stiffer would be needed for the high speeds.
