It should *not* move.   It is located above and below by bit snap rings.   
Are you sure that both snap rings are secure?   If they are, and there is 
unwanted play still, you can shim it by putting big shims (nothing wrong with using 
extra snap rings) between the snap ring and the slave bracket.
