[DeTomaso] lower control arm

Matt,
That is a serious crack and nothing to drive with!It could be the crack have
come from a binding shaft through your upright,and you just as well take the
whole arm loose for a replacement or a GOOD welder to repair your old
one.Just make sure that your controlarm can move freely in its connection to
the upright,and in the other end to the mountingforks if you have
other(Teflon and that kind) instead of original rubber bushings,as a binding
in both ends will crack the arm or its mountings.Glad you discovered it
before it got more seriouse :)

Found some bad news the other day.  My back left, lower control arm is
cracked:

Does anyone have one they'd like to get rid of?  Any past experience
stories, or advice, on repair?
