Sorry, I just can't get past the laws of physics, a = f/m in particular.  
   
  There is of course the awkward rumor that Ford powered Cobras only exist because Chevy wouldn't sell 327s to Shelby to put in Listers.

      I think people build a kit with a bone stock 302 and automatic and pop it into a "427 Cobra" replica body and slap the 427 on the sides of the front fenders.  The number on the fender is the only 427 on or in the car.
