A basic tune up is no different than for a vintage Mustang:
 
Replace the plugs, check/set the timing, and adjust and dyno tune the carb.  
 
If your car still has the stock ignition system, replace the points and condensor, and you 
should also replace your distributor cap and rotor, and maybe even the coil and plug wires. 
Actually, if your car still has the stock ignition, you should upgrade it to an electronic 
ignition (Petronix at a minimum). It will definitely increase your enjoyment of the car!
