Drove up to Reno this weekend to pickup my new CF decklid and Dan Courtney's fiberglass air dam and decklid. 

Larry or AJ will post some photo's in the next day or so but I have to say I was impressed with the workmanship of both the CF decklids and hoods. The hood latch is embedded and the quality of all the work is excellent.

IIf there was any surprises it was how good the quality was on Dan's FIBERGLASS decklid and hood.  It is actually the BEST quality fiberglass I have seen in 25 years.  And I have seen allot of vendor decklids and hoods. For the considerable savings  (its HALF the cost of CF!!!) my hats off to Larry Stock & Pantera Parts Connection.  

I had a great road trip up and back to Reno on H-395 through the Sierra Mountains...there was still snow/ice above 6,000 feet and the views all most surpassed the fact that the road a weekend before Independance Day were virtually empty. I'm sure the $4.50 a gallon gas prices helped.  I spent the night at Larry & Sheri's home in Carson City. I could hear Larry SNORING before I walked in the house. He left the door open with a plate of macaroons and milk....its the only food item the dawg will eat on the road.

In the morning we drove down to Pantera Parts Connection in Reno 
(1-800-DETOMASO) and got to check out Dan Courtney and my new CF and fiberglass parts and all the molds Larry has for intake ears, interior pieces, even the mold for the body pieces. He's got 2 40' containers full of molds. While we were there watching Larry's kid (Richard) drive around their home built dirt track Paul Rimov of Medford Oregon came by and we hung out for about an hour which was also cool.
