There's an open breather mounted to the top of the gas tank; the fitting is 
circular and is held in place with three rivets.

Doesn't the Mangusta use the same setup?

Pantera vendors sell a modern replacement consisting of a cheap off-the-shelf 
Ford rollover valve (vent with a check ball to prevent spilling in case the 
car is inverted), adapted to a plate they make to allow installation on the 
Pantera fuel tank.   I suspect the Mangusta setup would be the same?
