  I spoke with Steve Wilkinson on this topic last week.  He has been in
  contact with Santiago regularly and they discussed this issue.

  Santiago already has the records in his possession.  Wilkinson does not
  think my suggestion of having them turned over to POCA is going to happen.  

  Perhaps due to legal/tax issues related to the Italian Gov't... who knows.

  But the records are said to be "safe".

           &&&&&     Do you mean that the DeTomaso factory records and 
  information are being saved by Santiago DeTomaso and that they won't be 
  thrown out or given to the next owner?     If Santiago DeTomaso is going to 
  have all the archives and several file cabinets, then that is a good thing.
