You can draw your own conclusions.  I do remember someone else selling a
Pantera with a similar response.  Perhaps it is the same guy a year later.

Regardless, one might presume what he did list was intentional and not a
typo of the first characters also.

Since the VIN is visible thru the windshield (By law in the USA anyway, how
about Canada "A" ?) one might wonder why he won't tell potential buyers
until AFTER you buy this car.

I have now been contacted by two possible bidders, and I have sent them the
reply I received.  

I would still be willing to help this guy out, if something changes his
mind.
