I use my lever mechanism for clutch engagement softness and not
for pressure comfort, but it is essentially the same technique. I dont
remember lever ratio of the original, but in my case it is essential
that the most powerful-longest pedal travel comes in at engagement.
To do so it is VERY important that the knee of the lever arms is
in the right possition to the other pivot centres.
If you look at the thing you will find out that the knee is greatley 
altering
its possition from different pushrod length, it is a question of mm:s in
my case. As for a stock unit it is not that important as there are not
any special point of travel that are of interest. But pushrod length
still makes a big difference in function.
