Bearings come in a huge variety of styles. Use ball bearings with real seals,
not dust shields. Check the wear marks on your axles first though 'cause a
variation of 0.001" down from the spec of 1.5748" will cause the axle to wobble
with brand new bearings. And that 4th decimal IS critical, taking a
5-significant-number micrometer to determine.
Be sure to buy the axle nut spanner-socket that completely encloses the axle
nut. The ones with prongs on their ends rather than in the insides, will slip
at 400+ ft-lbs of torque. And a long chunk of steel with two holes drilled in
one end for two wheel studs will hold the assembly (someone can simply stand
on it) while you torque the nut. Good luck- J DeRyke
