[DeTomaso] more fuel system questions

I've had my plug on and off a few times this week as I flushed my tank. It originally had some sealer on it, which made removing it a little tough (the first time). It feels like you can really reef on it when you re-tighten, but I would recommend some sealer and a little less reefing!

I'd use a sealer on any known or suspected pipe threads. Even if the thing is
not tapered, the sealer also acts as a thread lube and allows one to tighten
a fitting slightly tighter, and sometimes, thats the difference between leak
and seal. Good luck- J DeRyke
