standard setup on the driver's side. Interestingly, #1265, another French
pushbutton, has 'outie' pushbuttons on both sides. I suspect they were
retrofitted when the original ones broke, as they sometimes did if they were treated
improperly (like attempting to open it by forcing it when the lock was locked).

for very early Pushbutton Pantera emblems.

>>>Note that all these early pushbutton cars have TWO headlight switches!
One of them (mounted to the left of the windshield wiper switch) is used to
raise and lower the buckets, while the other one turns the lights on and off.
Eventually they got smart and figured out that one switch would suffice.

>>>Many of the French Panteras I've seen were equipped by Franco-Britannic
with a different, and rather unique Momo two-spoke steering wheel. It is not
the 'standard' pushbutton two-spoke Ferraro wheel, but rather a Momo, which
looks a bit strange. Both of Stephane's Panteras (pushbutton #1256 and '79 GTS
#9118) are equipped with the same wheel, as is #1045, and several other French
cars I've seen.
