All,

Just commenting on Larry Stock and Steve Wilkinson's CF and overlay decklids and hoods here. Don't know anything about the Swedish pieces.

Mikey, are you sure Larry and Steve's vendor is also making up PI's pieces? My understanding is each of the Pantera vendors has their own molds and have incorporated some changes into the mold process with the supplier.

The CF decklid Larry Stock had made up are good looking pieces. While Larry is using the same supplier or vendor as Wilkinson keep in mind again that they both use a 'different mold'.

That's not to say Steve Wilkinson's pieces are anything but great. I loved the CFoverlay pieces I had on my Pantera before although the FLEX problem was an issue on the overlay pieces at speed.

Larry has incorporated some changes to fit and hardware into his new mold.

To Larry's credit he is also having the same vendor make up fiberglass pieces which look better then any glass pieces I have seen in the past but are just HALF the cost of the CF.

We installed the CF decklid on the Pantera today at Dicks shop. Hoping to install a new hood next week after flush mounted hardware is fitted.

A while back someone talked about carbon graphite decks made in Europe which were made in an autoclave (SP?). I think that's a whole different game, more expensive, but also stronger for the same weight, or lighter.
