[DeTomaso] Carbon decklid, hood and wing for Pantera - made in Sweden

Geoff Peters had an early prototype of the front hood on his Pantera.   It is 
exceptionally well-made in terms of shape, fit and design.   He got an early 
prototype which was a lemon, in that the carbon fiber wasn't laid up properly, 
and the hood was flexible, like it was made of rubber! :>)

They promise to send him a proper one soon, i.e. this week or next I think.

Shipping to the UK from England was so expensive that he found it cheaper to 
buy a round-trip ticket, fly in and pick it up and then check it as luggage 
and bring it back.   Few airlines would accept the package due to its size; he 
had to fly SAS (Scandanavian Air Systems) who were more willing to work with 
him.

These would be cost-prohibitive to ship to the USA; fortunately Larry Stock 
is making carbon fiber and fiberglass parts now that are of equal if not 
superior design and quality.   Wilkinson and PI have also been offering similar 
units for years (all three shops have the same person in Reno manufacture their 
respective parts, interestingly!)
