After the ZF is drained, remove the offending bolts and clean the bolts and
holes with brake cleaner. Then coat the bolt threads with YamaBond 4 (
available at your Yamaha dealer) and retorque. This is your best chance at
sealing the leak.
As an FYI, Quella does not use the gasket in question and only uses YamaBond
in that application. I have followed that advice on many rebuilds and no
leaks at the bottom plate todate.
