Congrats to Chevy…  But please note that a Radical SR8 holds a 6:55 track record and its sister car the SR3 turbo 4 banger holds a 7:19 time.
 
SR8 combines two Hayabusa engines into a 360HP V8 configuration weighing 1430#.
SR3 turbocharges an warmed Hayabusa for 320 HP.
 
These are available at Spring Mountain (Las Vegas) track and SoCal.  Note too that they can be legalized for street use by ordering the lighting package and raised body setting for street use from Radical West.  Once registered in Nevada, California accepts them w/o the need for windshield and, of course, wipers.

A used SR3 costs about $50,000.  Not bad for a world class ride based on a Suzuki
