This reminds me of the time I went to a supposed "Mustang Specialist"
to talk about something else I can't remember. But, we got into this
conversation about my 1971 Mach I, engine trans, options, etc. So I
tell him it has a C6 transmission, and he proceeds to tell me how Ford
never put a C6 in the Mach I's.

Excuse me? Has it right on the door plate.

Nope, never put them in those cars, someone's put one in and used the
door sticker from some other car.

What? Funny how the VIN on the sticker matches the one on the
dashboard, and the one on the dashboard is still riveted with the rose
shaped rivets.

Are you calling me a liar?

At which point I walk out and never do any business with them again.
And withing six months their doors are closed. Gee, I wonder why.
