I had a nice conversation with Steve Liebenow this week during his visit and
he pointed out that a Mangusta fuel tank vent is a simple welded aluminum stub
joined to a small hose, paired with a vented fuel tank cap. Since the Hall
system for Panteras is flanged and the car uses a non-vented gas cap so all
venting is done thru the valve, none of these are likely to be of much use to you.

But Jaz Products makes fuel cells for pro racing series and they have some
(called 'tip-over valves') for fuel cells that can be used in-line with a hose.
The only critaria are, the valve needs to be mounted upright; in effect, they
are gravity-actuated check valves, and because these are racing parts, they
use AN fitting threads. So some extra expense for fittings and a potential
mounting place would be needed. A couple are listed in Jegs speed shop catalog.
Good luck- J Deryke
