[DeTomaso] A presentation on race oil basics from Joe Biggs Oil

I know one can't blend synthetics with traditional oils, but to my knowledge, gradually adding one brand of regular oil with another as needed isn't necessarily a bad thing.

To be sure, though, I'm going to just replace all the oil at once. It may be I have to pull my engine again, and if so, I'll have to do that anyway.

Sincerely,

Chris

Lets see, If you have a 10qt oil pan, why not just use 3qts shell, 3qts synthetic, and 3qts Joe Briggs and1qt multi blend? maybe the best of all worlds?

No really anyone have a idea about blending two oils?

OK, so here I was, ready to start using Shell Rotella 30 wt, and now I read this...has there ever been a consensus for which is better, the Shell or the synthetic stuff listed here? My 351 is fairly stock, so does that make a difference?Sure appreciate your feedback.Thanks,Chris#3846> Date: Wed, 23 Jan 2008 12:58:15 -0800> From: kenn_green at yahoo.com> To: detomaso at realbig.com> Subject: [DeTomaso] A presentation on race oil basics from Joe Biggs Oil> > http://www.joegibbsracingoil.com/Downloads/racingoil101.pdf> _______________________________________________> > Detomaso Forum Managed by POCA> > Archive Search Engine Now Available at http://www.realbig.com/detomaso/> > DeTomaso mailing list> DeTomaso at list.realbig.com> http://list.realbig.com/mailman/listinfo/detomaso_______________________________________________Detomaso Forum Managed by POCAArchive Search Engine Now Available at http://www.realbig.com/detomaso/DeTomaso mailing listDeTomaso at list.realbig.comhttp://list.realbig.com/mailman/listinfo/detomaso
