If I had all the money I could use, instead of turboes I'd buy one of Don 
Schubeck's 'Ultimate Piston Engines'. Some of us saw this unbelievable powerplant 
on the dyno during a tour I led at the Las Vegas Fun Rally in 2005. It's 
loosely based on the 426 Hemi block, but is an all-aluminum heads & block, 904 
cubic inches, 4-valve heads, 4 gear-driven overhead cams and EFI, with dry sump 
oiling. Redline is 7200 rpms. Two configurations: the normally aspirated 
version dynoes at 1400 bhp on pump gas while the optional Whipplecharged one puts 
out 2500 bhpagain on 92 octane gas. It was built for racing but two 
organizations banned it before Shubeck completed the first one, so most are running in 
offshore boats. NOT CHEAP!
