FWIW, the Byars boyz at Precision Proformance in So-Cal <
www.precisionproformance.com> pioneered the successful big-block-in-a Pantera swap and have in 
stock everything you need to do the job without rediscovering the wheel, 
so-to-speak. I'm told they sell it as a turnkey installation, as a kit or 
one-part-at-a-time for do-it-yerselfers. One item I keep reminding people of is to 
seriously regear your ZF afterwards or you will have effectively created a ZF 
3-speed; the monstrous torque of a big block will make 1st & 2nd gear almost useless 
even with giant rear tires. Once regeared and with a good chassis brace system 
and better shocks, you will have a true 200mph sportscar, if thats what your
