That's a damn shame.   I just heard about George's condition last week, and 
apparently it had progressed so quickly that there was nothing that could be 
done.

I was told that George was rather philosophical about the whole thing 
(certainly more than I would be?) and he lived a good, happy life.   He was certainly 
an invidividual, even amongst individuals, and he left his mark on the 
Pantera community.   He will be long remembered.
