Do not forgot the flow rate of the pump. Most of the pumps at the junkyards
can't supply a high performance V8. I'm using Bosch 044 pump and it's a
little bit noisy and the current consumption is about 14 amps!

Sure--the junkyards are full of them!   Think about it--you don't ever hear 
the fuel pump on a modern car, all of which use high-pressure fuel injection

systems.
