There was some recent chatter about helmets on the forum and I wanted to
share a new find with you all.

I am doing a project ( long story, involves fake Euro-Trash Terrorists ,
think Die Hard ) and I have to outfit a team of
bad guys on crotch rockets ) for a Corporate event.

Anyway, I went shopping today for black helmets and came across a brand that
was new to me, Scorpion,
the EXO-400 series, full face, flip up visor, both DOT and Snell M2005
rated, super clean design, great visibility, 4 visor choices
( dark tint, light tint, mirror and clear ), interior fabric liner that
wicks aways sweat, Composite shell construction,
nice vents to stop fogging,plus pretty hip design. and best of all only
$149.95.

Way cheaper than my Shoei's, way better than the Bell, HJC, low end
Simpsons, etc.

I also read a nice article about the upcoming Snell2010 certification, lots
of research going on, nothing rated M2005 evens comes close to passing the
forthcoming standards.
